This is a message to everyone on this list. Its very difficult to answer a lot
of questions when the email message is sent in HTML format. Please use plan
text format so I don't have to go through hoops to reply to email messages.
IMHO there is absolutely no need to use HTML for email!

>Question #1

>Just how good are the tables you use to locate distance (e.g. epicenter) to
earthquakes

I don't know. I'm not a seismologist so I can't answer your question. I got the
tables many years ago and I do not know what region (I think Southern
California) they ably too.

>Question #2

>Can I use the Kentucky earthquake for calibration?

You can use it to calibrate the magnitude correction number in WinSDR and
WinQuake. The WinQuake Magnitude Calculator dialog box can be used to calculate
the correction number. This feature is only available in the new beta release.
See this page for more info

WinQuake.

& S_bJB.

When you move WinQuake to a new system you must copy all of the files and
subdirectories in the WinQuake root directory. WinQuake is missing the JB
tables and that's why you are getting the error messages.

>I tried downloading the latest version of WinQuake thinking I would go ahead
and
>pay for a second copy if that was the problem but I can't get it to work
either.

You don't need to pay for a second copy. Just use the same code I sent you.

>And of course, I wiped out the copy on the computer downstairs with the
equipment.
>Why can't WinSDR see the files in the same folder on this computer?

I'm not sure what you are trying to do. Sounds like the file sharing between
the two systems is not working correctly. You need to get some locally to help
you with this type of problem.

>Is the beeping because it is not getting data? Can't I work off-line?

WinSDR has the Replay Only mode so you can work off-line. See the WinSDR
documentation for more info.
