From: "Larry Cochrane" <cochrane@..............> Subject: WinSDR problem when running at 25 Samples per Second Date: Wed, 13 Mar 2002 14:30:41 -0800
Hi Everyone,
While looking into adding more sample rates options I found a problem with
the code in SDR Server and the firmware on the A/D board. Until I have a new
release ready, do not run WinSDR at 25 SPS. Everything should be fine if you
keep the sample rate at 200 (max of 4 channels), 100 or 50.
If you would like to run at 25 SPS or lower, the new WinSDR release will
support 5, 10, 20, 25, 50, 100 and 200 SPS, please send me an email and I
will send you a new version of WinSDR and SDR Server or the firmware on the
A/D board. Please note that you should only use the lower sample rates if
you are only going to record teleseismic or distant events or if you are
recording none earthquake related data. If you will be recording local
events you should run WinSDR at 100 (preferably) or 50 SPS.
